The operator of the Disney theme parks in Japan said Wednesday it will open its fourth hotel near Tokyo next June, encouraged by the growing popularity of the existing three hotels.

Oriental Land Co. plans to spend around ¥3 billion ($25 million) remodeling Palm & Fountain Terrace Hotel, operated by a group firm in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, into Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel.

The annual occupancy rates of the three existing hotels have surpassed 90 percent, the company said.

The rates of the new hotel, whose decorations will feature Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, will vary by season but be kept lower than the three other hotels, Oriental Land said, estimating the cost of a one-night stay in the cheapest room at about ¥20,000.

The new hotel will have two buildings. One of them will open in June and the other in autumn next year.
