Right-hander Rick Van den Hurk will be tested and receive treatment through the weekend for fatigue, the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks announced Wednesday.

Van den Hurk, who last month set a record of 14 straight winning decisions at the start of career in Japan, was deactivated on June 1 for exhaustion. A Hawks spokesperson said the symptom is not limited to his elbow and shoulder but affects his entire body.

The 31-year-old, who posted an 8-11 record over six major league seasons, made his SoftBank debut last year and went 9-0 with the top team. He lost his first game on May 17 as he allowed seven runs in five innings against the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters.

The Dutchman allowed 14 runs in his last 16 innings over three starts.
