Tetsuto Yamada homered twice and drove in three runs to lead the Tokyo Yakult Swallows to their fourth straight victory, a 4-2 win over the Yokohama BayStars.

Yamada opened the scoring in the first inning with his 35th home run, a two-run shot, and made it 3-1 in the third with a solo blast. Shingo Kawabata, who went 3-for-4 and scored on Yamada's first homer, doubled in an insurance run in the fourth.

Before a rain-dampened Jingu Stadium crowd of 15,886, right-hander Yasuhiro "Ryan" Ogawa (11-8) made the most of the run support, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over six innings.
