Matsumoto Yamaga have signed South Korean midfielder Kim Bo-kyung, the J. League first-division club said on Wednesday.

Kim became a free agent after finishing last season with Wigan Athletic, who were relegated from the second-tier Championship in England.

The 25-year-old joined Cerezo Osaka in 2010 and was loaned out to Oita Trinita in his first season. He moved to Cardiff City in 2012 before transferring to Wigan on a short-term deal in February.
