Masahiro Tanaka picked up where he left off before the All-Star break on Friday, winning his fourth consecutive start in the New York Yankees' 4-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners.

Tanaka overcame two home runs from Kyle Seager — a solo shot in the third inning and a two-run blast in the fifth — to improve to 6-3 on the year.

Tanaka struck out seven in seven innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits and two walks. He threw 103 pitches.
