Nadeshiko Japan goalkeeper Erina Yamane is suffering from a dislocated shoulder but should be fit for the remainder of the Women's World Cup, coach Norio Sasaki said on Tuesday.

Yamane was not in goal for Japan's 2-1 win over the Netherlands that sent the holders to the quarterfinals. Ayumi Kaihori took her place, but committed a ghastly error to let in the Dutch goal during injury time and did not speak to reporters after the game.

Sasaki described Yamane's injury as "light."

Japan faces continental rival Australia in Saturday's quarterfinal in Edmonton.
