Kashima Antlers suffered a stoppage-time 3-2 defeat to FC Seoul in Group H and were knocked out of the Asian Champions League on Tuesday.

Substitute Mauricio Molina doomed Toninho Cerezo's men in the 91st minute, after Kashima captain Gaku Shibasaki made it a 2-2 game late in the second half. Shuhei Akasaki had opened the scoring early before Seoul went up through goals from Lee Woong-hee and Osmar Barba.

Kashima, needing a win to have any chance of going through, struck the first goal it was out for in the eighth minute through Akasaki, who hit the back of the net from a pass by Shoma Doi for his first goal of the competition.
