J.League first-division side Nagoya Grampus will go ahead with their training camp in Thailand despite a wave of civil unrest in the country, the team said Tuesday.
"We are receiving information from there and as long as the airport remains open, we don't think there will be any problem," the team said in a comment. "We will continue to collect information and will proceed with caution."
Grampus are scheduled to depart for the northern city of Chiang Mai on Feb. 4 and move to Bangkok, which is the center of antigovernment protests, 10 days later, for a friendly against a Thai club.
First-division rivals Cerezo Osaka have canceled their training camp in Thailand.
