South Korea's Lee Na-ri posted her first win on the Japan LPGA Tour on Sunday at the Miyagi TV Cup, denying former world No. 1 Ai Miyazato a triumphant homecoming in the process.

Lee, who shared the second-round lead with Taiwan's Teresa Lu, capitalized on a late meltdown by Miyazato and a 2-under 70 that featured three birdies and a bogey was enough to see her finish one stroke clear of Miyazato and Lu at 5-under 211.

Miyazato, who had shared the first-round lead before falling three strokes back on Saturday, was gunning for her third Miyagi title.

She temporarily went top of the leaderboard in Sunday's round after seven birdies through 14 holes put her at 7 under.

But the Okinawan, playing in her first event of the season in Japan, was unable to maintain the momentum and double bogeyed the 15th which Lee birdied, before dropping another shot at the 17th.
