Overnight leader Miki Saiki held on to post her first victory of the season at the Vantelin Ladies Open on Sunday.

Saiki birdied her final two holes in a round of 2-under-par 71 to finish one stroke ahead of Ritsukyo Ryu with a 54-hole total of 4-under 212. She earned ¥10.8 million from the ¥60 million purse.

"When it (the winning putt) went in, well, I don't know what to say, I was so happy," said Saiki, who underwent neck surgery last December. "I didn't think I would be able to get back to my best so quickly."

Victory was the sixth of Saiki's career and first since winning the Elleair Ladies Open last November.
