CSKA Moscow will begin talks with Japan midfielder Keisuke Honda about a contract extension through the summer of 2015, a Russian website reported on Thursday.

Honda's existing deal with the Russian Premier League leaders expires at the end of next year. According to sports.ru, citing Honda's agent, the 2010 World Cup star is happy at CSKA and will not rule out extending his contract.

The report, however, also sources CSKA as saying that Honda wants to play for a big European club and that it will not stand in the way of the 26-year-old.
