"The Killing" is a "Twin Peaks" redux for millenials, but without the weird comedy. This is the tragic story of the corpse of a 17-year-old found in a car registered to a Seattle councilman. The local police investigation is unwillingly headed by Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos), who was poised to quit, and Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman), her replacement. This is a riveting mystery offset by depressing Seattle rain.
