I'll watch anything and everything that has Jason Statham in it. "Proof of Life" director Taylor Hackford is at the helm of this connect-the-dots vehicle with a whiff of nostalgic noir. Apart from Statham, who plays a good-guy thief named Parker, check out the wiles of Parker's girlfriend Leslie (Jennifer Lopez), operating under the firm belief that sexy lingerie and tousled hair packs a wallop of action mileage. No argument here.
