Brazilian striker Rafael Silva has agreed to join Chinese second-division club Wuhan Zall after playing one season with the Urawa Reds, the J. League team said Saturday.

Silva, who moved to the Reds for the 2017 season from J2 club Albirex Niigata, helped Urawa claim the Asian Champions League crown in November by scoring a brace in the two-leg final against Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal.

In a statement released by the Reds, the 25-year-old said he is proud that he contributed to the history of the team and has grown as an individual by winning the team's long-sought title.

Silva scored 12 goals in 25 league appearances for the J1 side last season.
