The Yokohama BayStars hope to have found their third baseman as they announced the signing of Audy Ciriaco of the Dominican Republic on Tuesday.

Ciriaco, 29, played for the Ishikawa Million Stars of the independent Baseball Challenge League this season, when he hit .332 with 15 home runs and 53 RBIs in 68 games.

Yokohama finished third in the Central League this year to reach the postseason, but never settled on anyone full-time at the hot corner.
