Forward Yuji Ono will be out for at least a month after breaking his jaw during a training session, his Belgian club Sint-Truiden said Friday on its website.

The 23-year-old, who moved from Standard Liege in the summer last year, has yet to open his account with Sint-Truiden after going scoreless in 22 league games last term.

Ono played for Yokohama F Marinos' youth team and was handed the No. 10 shirt when he joined the top team at age 18. He had nine goals in 79 J. League games before moving to Liege in 2012.

He has been hampered by injuries since, however, including a six-month layoff with left-knee ligament damage in July 2013.
