Taro Daniel and Yuichi Sugita will both compete in the men’s singles at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics after being added as new entries, the Japan Tennis Association said on Saturday.
Daniel and Sugita have secured berths following the withdrawal of players, including Swiss superstar Roger Federer. They join compatriot and world No. 6 Kei Nishikori in the men’s draw.
