The Tokyo Cinq Reves stayed within striking distance, but failed to halt their epic losing streak on Friday night.

The visiting Iwate Big Bulls edged Tokyo 81-76 in Machida, sending the Cinq Reves to their 38th straight loss in the bj-league.

Alandise Harris led Iwate (27-20) with 25 points and added 10 rebounds and three steals, and Abdullahi Kuso had 19 points and 13 boards. Tatsunori Fujie poured in 16 points and Patrick Sanders had seven.

The Big Bulls out-rebounded the hosts 54-45.

Andre Murray scored a game-high 30 points for Tokyo (1-44), including 5-for-10 from 3-point range. Du'Vaughn Maxwell added 12 points and John Florveus had 10 with 11 rebounds.

Tokyo trailed 38-33 at halftime.
