Former major league reliever Hideki Okajima has signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles, the online edition of the Baltimore Sun reported Wednesday.

The 40-year-old became a free agent after going 0-2 with an 8.59 ERA in 10 games for the Yokohama BayStars last season. The report claims the deal does not include a major league spring training invitation and the southpaw will report to the Orioles' minor league camp.
