Sara Takanashi dominated Saturday’s Ladies’ Grand Prix in Chaikovsky, Russia, to remain perfect in two competitions this season.
Takanashi began with an unbeatable 101.5-meter jump on the HS 106, K 95 hill. She followed with a 99.5-meter second jump that ran her points total for the day to 257.4, giving her a comfortable victory margin over Norway’s Maren Lundby, who finished with 231.8.
Takanashi has won the summer jump Grand Prix series three years in a row.
Japan’s Yuki Ito was fourth.
