Masahiro Tanaka gave up three home runs for the second straight game in blowing a six-run lead over five innings for the New York Yankees, who pulled out a 9-6 win over the Houston Astros on Saturday.

Coming off his worst career start, Tanaka, who did not factor in the decision, was able to execute most of his pitches but fell behind in too many counts and was punished for it.

The right-hander allowed six runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five.
