YOKOHAMA – Kawasaki Frontale captain Kengo Nakamura is expected to miss three weeks due to a right ankle sprain, the J. League first-division club said Thursday.
Nakamura was stretchered off the field after taking a hit in the second half of a 3-2 home loss to Shimizu S-Pulse on Sunday. Nakamura was examined on Thursday and skipped practice in order to concentrate on rehabilitation.
