A deal for Kashiwa Reysol forward Junya Tanaka to move to Portuguese club Sporting has been reached, his J. League first division club announced late on Sunday.
The details on the contract for Tanaka have not been revealed, but according to Portuguese media reports the transfer fee for the 26-year-old is €500,000 (about ¥69 million). Sporting is one of Portugal’s biggest clubs, alongside Porto and Benfica.
