Japan goalkeeper Eiji Kawashima was one of several players to put the boot in on the World Cup ball in South Africa four years ago, but the Standard Liege custodian says he has no such worries about the “Brazuca” to be used at the Brazil tournament kicking off on Thursday.

In 2010, the “Jabulani” was described by some players as “supernatural” and “like a beach ball,” while Kawashima said it “doesn’t swerve even when players try to curl it and it travels further.”
