Brain Wolfe threw one-run ball over eight innings and Lee Dae-ho hit his first home run of the season against his former team as the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks defeated the Orix Buffaloes 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.
With the victory, the Hawks overtook Orix for first place in the Pacific League standings.
Wolfe (1-0) won in his third start, scattering four hits with three walks and three strikeouts at Yafuoku Dome. Dennis Sarfate had a perfect ninth for his fourth save.
