Japan coach Eddie Jones declared he would soon be in better health than ever on Friday, when he made his first public appearance following the stroke he suffered on Oct. 15.
“I am at about 98 percent now,” he said at Japan Rugby Football Union headquarters. “I can stretch and touch my toes — which I couldn’t do before.”
When asked if he would adjust his lifestyle, Jones, who was finally released from hospital last Saturday, simply said “I may just sleep a bit more. I need to make a few adjustments and sleep a few more hours, but in three to four weeks I will be better than ever.”
