Japan defender Yuto Nagatomo was on target for the second week in a row on Sunday, helping Inter Milan cruise to a 3-0 win away to Catania in Serie A.

Rodrigo Palacio broke the deadlock after 19 minutes with his second goal in as many games and then turned provider for Nagatomo, sending over a cross from the right that the former FC Tokyo man headed in at the far post to make it 2-0 in the 56th. Ricardo Alvarez sealed the win 10 minutes from time.

"I am pleased I could score," said Nagatomo. "I am always going for goal. I had belief getting myself into a scoring position and that led to the goal.

"My condition is getting better and I am gaining confidence."
