Overnight leader Rikako Morita captured her second win of the season on Sunday and returned to the top of the money rankings, despite carding a 2-over-par 74 in the final round of the Chukyo TV Ladies.

Morita, winner of the season-opening Daikin Orchid Ladies, had an up-and-down front nine of two birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey at Chukyo Golf Club's Ishino course.

But the 23-year-old parred all nine holes after the turn, and that proved to be good enough for a one-shot win over South Korea's Jeon Mi Jeong, who shot a 68.

"I went out of bounds on the sixth hole and could not get any birdies (on the back nine) so it was a struggle," said Morita. "It is the first time I have ever been so nervous."

"It felt different to when I have previously gone into the final day in the lead. I'll try and get a better score on the final day of the next tournament."

Morita, who finished at 8-under 208 for her fourth career title, earned ¥12.6 million to leapfrog Miki Saiki back to the top of the money standings.
