Shimizu S-Pulse will not be renewing the contract of former Japan striker Naohiro Takahara for next season, the J. League first-division club said Tuesday.
The 33-year-old former Hamburg SV and Eintracht Frankfurt forward said on his blog that he has had offers from clubs abroad and is also weighing the option of a move to another Japanese team.
