The Czech Republic was held to a goalless draw by Peru in the second match of the Kirin Cup on Saturday.
Peru, which also drew 0-0 with hosts Japan in the three-nation tournament's opener in Niigata on Wednesday, had the best chance of a dull game when Jefferson Farfan hit the woodwork in the late stages.
Japan meets the Czechs in the final match in Yokohama on Tuesday.
Peru dominated the first 20 minutes without forcing Czech goalkeeper Petr Cech into action, Raul Ruidiaz firing off a half chance in the 15th minute after Michael Guevara had shot across the face of the goal.
"We played well in both games," said the Uruguayan. "We were effective in defense and made more scoring chances than our opponents."
The Czech Republic, which came to Japan without injured captain Tomas Rosicky and striker Milan Baros, is using the Kirin Cup as part of its preparations for the final stage of Euro 2012 qualifying.
