Mobilityland Corp., a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co. which operates racing circuits, said Tuesday the 2012 Japanese Formula One Grand Prix will be held at Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture.
No date has been finalized.
Suzuka will also host the Grand Prix this year from Oct. 7-9. Toyota Motor Corp.'s subsidiary Fuji International Speedway Co. hosted the Grand Prix at its circuit in Shizuoka Prefecture in 2007 and 2008, but Toyota withdrew from F1 at the end of the 2009 season to cut costs.
