TAKARAZUKA, Hyogo Pref. (Kyodo) Joint overnight leader Hiroyuki Fujita collected his second title of the season with a two-shot victory at the Kansai Open on Sunday.

The 40-year-old, who stormed into contention after a course-record 61 Saturday, put together four birdies against a lone bogey on the 10th hole in a final-round 68 at the par-71 Takarazuka Golf Club to finish at 20-under 264.

"I began to sense victory from about the 15th hole and felt like my heart was going to pop out," said Fujita. "I'm glad I was able to pick up pars. Winning amid a scramble for the title gives me confidence."
