Yoshiyuki Kamei hit a pair of two-run homers, including a "sayonara" blast in the 11th inning as the Yomiuri Giants beat the Hiroshima Carp 6-4 on Tuesday.

Kamei tied the score 4-4 with his first shot of the afternoon off Hiroshima closer Katsuhiro Nagakawa in the ninth and gave an encore performance with drive to right off Ryuji Yokoyama two innings later at Asahikawa Starffin Stadium.

"I was able to hit those homers in just the right situations. Today's game was really important for us and I'm glad we could get the victory. Tomorrow we'll shoot for another win," Kamei said.
