Teenage phenom Ryo Ishikawa birdied the 18th hole to win the Sun Chlorella Classic by one stroke over Australia's Brendan Jones on Sunday.
Ishikawa went wire to wire for the first time in his JGTO tour career, closing with a 5-under 67 for a 17-under 271 total at Otaru Country Club.
His second win of the season — fourth overall — earned him ¥30 million, leaving the 17-year-old on the top of the 2009 money list with ¥61 million.
