IWATA, Shizuoka Pref. (Kyodo) Japan international Yuichi Komano has completed his move to Jubilo Iwata from Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Iwata officials said Tuesday.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who played in a defensive role for Japan at the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany, put in a transfer request after Hiroshima was relegated to the second division.
A product of Hiroshima's youth team, Komano played eight seasons with the club and scored nine goals in 168 J. League appearances.
