Money rankings leader Toru Taniguchi shot a second-round 68 on Saturday to take a three-stroke lead over Shigeki Maruyama and two others into the final round of the Suntory Open. Taniguchi had three birdies and a bogey on his way to a 7-under 133 total at Sobu Country Club's par-70 Sobu Course in an event cut to 54 holes after a powerful typhoon wiped out play on Friday.
