The Japanese women's national soccer team booked its ticket to the 2008 Beijing Olympics on Saturday with an 8-0 drubbing of Vietnam in the final Asian qualifier to ensure a second straight appearance at the Summer Games. "Nadeshiko Japan" improved to a record of 4-0 with one draw, finishing atop Group A with 13 points. The women's squad will make its third overall appearance after also competing at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and the 2004 Summer Games in Athens. The Japanese men's soccer team will start its campaign for a spot in next year's Olympics when the Asian final qualifier gets under way Aug. 22.
