Omiya Ardija has signed Brazilian striker Enilton on a one-year loan deal from Brazilian club Palmeiras, the J. League first-division club said Thursday.
The 29-year-old Enilton helped Sion win the Swiss league cup in the 1997-1998 season, and had spells at Mexico's Tigres and a host of other Brazilian clubs before joining Palmeiras in 2006.
Omiya also announced it has handed striker Alison an extension on his current deal that will keep him at the club until the end of 2007.
