NAGOYA -- Makoto Kaneko had found a new way to make an out in every Japan Series at-bat heading into the seventh inning of Game 2.
Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters baserunner Tsuyoshi Shinjo slides home safely to score the go-ahead run on a two-run single by Makoto Kaneko in the seventh inning on Sunday at Nagoya Dome in Game 2 of the Japan Series. The Fighters won 5-2 to tie the series at one game apiece.
