Making his first start in four games, Hirayama headed home Stefan Tanghe's corner from the right to draw Heracles level at 2-2 in the 54th minute before Tanghe and Marc Hocher added further goals to complete the comeback.

"I badly wanted to get a goal and it was nice that I was able to score in our final home game of the season," said Hirayama, whose goal was his eighth of the campaign.

Breda had led 2-0 through goals from Leonardo Santiago and Ronnie Stam but the defeat dropped them into the relegation play-off places and they now need to win their final match against champions PSV Eindhoven to stand any chance of avoiding the play-offs.

Heracles, who are 13th in the 18-team table and guaranteed top-flight soccer next season, are away to Roda JC Kerkrade in the final round of matches on Sunday.
