J. League first-division club Nagoya Grampus Eight announced Thursday the acquisition of Japan striker Keiji Tamada from Kashiwa Reysol, which was relegated to the second division after the 2005 season.

Nagoya and Kashima agreed on a full transfer deal for Tamada, who had also been targeted by Omiya Ardija and Shimizu S-Pulse after Kashiwa lost to Ventforet Kofu in the promotion/relegation playoffs.
