Yuri Fudo started strongly in pursuit of her fifth title of the year, shooting a 4-under-par 68 Friday to share the lead with Midori Yoneyama after the first round of the Fujitsu Ladies. Nineteen-year-old Sakura Yokomine, who like Yoneyama is bidding for her third win of the year, is one shot back at 69.
