Yasuhiro Ueyama and Tetsuya Sotomura won the silver and bronze in the men’s individual event at the world trampolining championships Saturday, a day after leading Japan to the silver in the men’s team event.

Ueyama collected 40.90 points to finish runnerup to Alexander Rusakov of Russia, who captured the gold with 41.30, while Sotomura earned 40.80 to round off the podium on the final day of competition.
