Popular teenage golfer Sakura Yokomine will sit out this week’s Munsingwear Ladies Tokai Classic due to health problems, her management office said Wednesday.
Yokomine opted out of the three-day tournament at Ryosen Golf Club in Mie Prefecture beginning Friday after the 19-year-old complained of fatigue following her third-place finish last week at the Konica Minolta Cup.
According to her office, doctors have said Yokomine needs to rest for a week.
