Ryoko Nishii outclassed the field to win her third 1-meter springboard crown at the national diving championships Sunday, adding to the 3-meter title she claimed two days ago.

Nishii, who represented Japan at the world championships in Montreal last month, collected 296.91 points at Kobe Port Island Sports Center in winning her first title in two years in the discipline.

In other events, Kaoru Sakurai captured his first platform title with 494.46 points. Emi Otsuki and Misako Yamashita won the women’s synchronized platform while Takeshi Kawaguchi and Taishi Busujima emerged victorious in the men’s synchronized platform.
