CHITOSE, Hokkaido (Kyodo) Shingo Katayama shot a 4-under-par 68 Saturday to climb into a share of the third-round lead with Jeev Milkha Singh of India and Lin Keng-chi of Taiwan at the Sega Sammy Cup.

Katayama, who topped the tour’s earnings list last year but has yet to win a title this season, carded five birdies against a lone bogey at North Country Golf Club on his way to a 9-under 207 total.
