Jubilo Iwata restored pride with a comfortable 3-0 home win over China's Shenzhen Jianlibao in its penultimate Group E match in the Asian Champions League on Wednesday.

Midfielder Keisuke Funatani put Jubilo in front in the 55th minute before substitute Yoshiaki Ota grabbed a double late on to seal the win.

The result, however, came too little too late for Masakuni Yamamoto's men, whose hopes of reaching the last eight were already dead after a 2-1 loss to South Korea's Suwon Bluewings on April 20.

Only the top team from each group qualifies for the last eight.

Jubilo has six points with one game remaining, four behind Shenzhen. Suwon leads the group with 13 points after it thrashed Vietnamese club Hoang Anh Gia Lai 6-0.

Yokohama F. Marinos faced China's Shandong Luneng Taishan away in a crunch Group F clash in a later kickoff.
