Japan Pro Boxing Association president Masahiko Harada has been hospitalized after suffering a brain hemorrhage, according to the association.
The association's executive director, Satoru Iwamoto, said the 61-year-old Harada is conscious and in stable condition.
Harada is the only Japanese boxer in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
