Fiji's Dinesh Chand reeled off three birdies on his final three holes to establish a one-shot lead with a 6-under-par 64 in the first round of the 120 million yen Chunichi Crowns on Thursday.
The 32-year-old, who is seeking his first win on the Japanese tour since the 2002 KSB Cup leads Shingo Katayama, Keiichiro Fukabori and Nozomi Kawahara by one stroke.
