Keio University edged Waseda University 3-2 Wednesday in an exhibition game featuring active university players and professionals who are graduates of the two Tokyo Big Six League schools.

Yomiuri Giants infielder Toshihisa Nishi (Waseda) and outfielder Yoshinobu Takahashi (Keio), and Fukuoka Daiei Hawks pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada (Waseda) were among those who took part in the game at Jingu Stadium in Tokyo, which also marked the 100th anniversary of the annual competition.

Hirotaka Okawa of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Kobe hit a pair of homers to drive in all three runs for Keio.

All-Keio beat All-Waseda 11-9 in the first-ever matchup between the archrivals in November 1903.
